What is "Open Source"?

“Open source” refers to something anyone can modify and share because its design is publicly accessible

Open-Source Software is software with the source code included so that anyone can inspect, modify, or enhance it.

This allows for collaborative development from multiple independent sources, generates an increasingly more diverse scope of design perspective
