Financial Databases

Annual Reports

Annual Reports contain a wealth of data on a company.  All publicly traded companies are required to file a Form 10K with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Below are some places where you may be able to find an annual report (or Form 10K) on your company.

In addition, you can also find annual reports of some companies directly on the Internet.  Simply type in [company name] Annual Report, and you will get a PDF of the annual report complete with Form 10-K that was filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Subsidaries

Subsidaries

A subsidiary is a company that is completely or partly owned by another corporation that owns more than half of the subsidiary's stock. Sometimes it can be difficult to find information on a subsidiary.

When it comes to researching subsidiaries of a parent company, the first place to look would be the subsidiary's web page if they have one. Never underestimate the information that companies publish on their own web sites.
