Information on West Library services while the Library building is closed

Obtaining Books

Due to the Tarrant County stay-at-home order (COVID-19 Virus) the library will be closed until further notice. 

Obtaining Books
Physical books in the library are unavailable, however, Electronic Books can be accessed by doing the following:
  1. Go to the West Library Home Page at
  2. Click on the Books and More tab
  3. Type in your topic
  4. On the results page, find Narrow Search on the left side, and then locate the format of eBook, and click on it.
  5. You should get a list of eBooks on your topic
  6. To access an eBook, find and click on access link (such as Available via EBSCO eBook Collection) in the listing for each book.
  7. You will then be taken to the Off-Campus Login page, where you put in your RAMLINK Username and Password.
InterLibrary Loan of Books

Interlibrary loan services are currently limited to digital article requests.  We are unable to process book requests or print article requests at this time.  You can continue to return ILL books to the West Library book drop located on the left side of the main library entrance.  We will resume filling book requests as soon as we are able.  Interlibrary loan articles will continue to be provided through your Texas Wesleyan email account.  Please contact with any questions/concerns about using interlibrary loan services during this time.

Renewing Books
The Library is automatically renewing any books or materials that are currently checked out. You will receive an email confirming the renewal once it is completed.  The library does not charge over-due fines.
TexShare Card Program
Due to current circumstances the TexShare Card Program is temporarily suspended.  To read more about the TexShare card program and its suspension log onto their website.
