How to Install the Flipster App for Android devices

Instructions
  1. Tap Google Play logo on your Android phone.
  2. Type in Flipster in the Seach box on your phone.
  3. Click on the Flipster app, as is show on the image to the left.

  1. Select the access method indicated on your Android phone.
  2. Either
    1. Allow all the time
    2. Allow only while using the App
    3. or Deny.

  1. Find the on your Android phone.
  2. When you find Texas Wesleyan Univ in the list of libraries, then tap the  button.

  1. Sign into your EBSCO account on your Android phone.
  2. Don't have an EBSCO account? Then go to Step 8 to find out how to create one!

 

Creating an Account on EBSCOhost

Step 1:  GO to the West Library Home Page as shown above at https://westlibrary.txwes.edu/

Step 2: Click on the (EBSCO Discovery Service) link as shown in the detail of the main page above.

Step 3:  Find the Sign In link on the main EBSCO Discovery Service page above.  See below for a detail of the EBSCO Discovery Service main page showing the Sign In link.

Step 4: Click on the Sign In link

Step 5: Click on the Create one now link above to create an account.

Step 6: Fill out the create an account form as shown above.

  1. Once logged into Flipster, you will see a screen similar to the one on the left in which you can see the current issue of all the magazines that the West Library subscribes to.
